Letter of the week was Hh. Happy Halloween! We made Hats and Hand print collages. In House keeping we cooked Hamburgers and Hot dogs For dinner. Our favorite story was " The legend of Spookley the square pumpkin " After the story we got to make our own pumpkins. They could be any shape and color we wanted! We also liked the silly story" Aaron's Hair". We sang the songs " If your Happy and you know it " Hands are for holding " And lots of Halloween Songs! Today was our parade, party and the fun game donut on a string!! Letter of the week was Gg. Morning work includes handwriting and cutting pictures that begin with the g sound. We also did some fun Halloween work sheets! We loved the book " There was an old lady who swallowed a fly " so Miss Lynn read the books " There was an old lady who swallowed some books " and " There was an old lady who swallowed a rose ".And we get to put all the items in the old lady's mouth!! Miss Lynn mixed the colors white and black and then we got to paint with those colors. Grey starts with G!! At circle we also sang Halloween songs and played the color freeze game. Some fun activities we did this week were: Played with Green Goo, Garbage toss Game, easel painting with Grey white and black, fill the Gumball machine with colored Gumballs, and best of all Miss Lynn painted the bottom of our feet white to make foot Ghosts!! We also sponge painted orange pumpkins, white ghosts, black cats and bats!!! Miss Lynn S Invited us to her room for music and movement! Thank you Leila's mom for the pumpkins we decorated on Friday!! F was letter of the week! We made Frogs and Fabric Fish. Miss Lynn read the Funny books: " Hi Fly Guy" "Fly High Fly Guy" "There was an old lady who swallowed a Fly" "There was an old lady who swallowed Fly Guy" Some activities we did: Farm Flannel board- Maisy's Farm Play dough with Halloween cookie cutters Made Bats and Witches Games: Frog number bounce Fishing game Feed the Woozle Lucky ducks color game Today we got to go into a real ambulance!!!!!! Letter of the week was E. We made Elephants for our alphabet books and painted Easter Eggs. Miss Lynn read many stories about Elephants! Our classroom is starting to look SPOOKY! We've been experimenting with colors too!!! The leaves on our fall tree were made by mixing RED and YELLOW finger paints. We have been talking about the 5 senses!
